of sweet

like a most wonderful meal
pull the blanket over

arms instictively
grab you to me
in the world
not awake
but not dream
I hear you speak
and you
talk to me
i don’t hear words
not sounds
but just
that voice
sweet
and soft
and deep
and subtle
i love that voice
i love your warmth
pull you in close
the fire of you surrounds me
keeping me safe
and that voice
flowing and cool water
flowing and continuous beat
keeps me cool
comfortable
in that heat

your arms
swirl on my skin and I watch
as your hands
the feel of those cool and warm and soft and hard
hands
run up and down my body
your hands stroke and
travel up and down
and up
and down
and as it reaches my head
and my hair
the strands become
rivers
and the rivers
flow
like your voice
your hand moves
from my body
and I feel it all
to my hair
and the rivers flow
and you play
and you fiddle
as you always do
occasionally
saying something
and letting me
see that voice
and after a while
you wisper
softly in my ear and
you nibble and
say its time to wake
and you
kiss my lips
and I open my eyes
just wishing to
close them once again
